Roy Banks

Peter Banks, Roy’s son, writes: Sad news, I’m afraid, about my Dad, Roy, who died last Thursday morning. He had been suffering from vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s for about the last 4 years, and had deteriorated rapidly over the past few weeks. I expect that you will share many fond memories, as I will, of some great cycling that we did together. After a private cremation ceremony in the morning, there will be a memorial service at 2.30 pm on Tuesday 31st January at Christchurch, Virginia Water, followed by light refreshments, and it would be lovely to see you there to share some of these happy memories and to celebrate my Dad’s life.
