Although there is a position on the Committee for a Campaigns Officer, this position is currently vacant. Some people find local campaigning to be a very rewarding activity and we would welcome a volunteer to fill this post. CTC’s national office staff include a number of professional campaigners: you can get some idea of the current campaigns being worked on by looking here. CTC has pioneered countless campaigns in its 135 year history and been immensely successful. A full-time co-ordinator works with campaign groups and individuals all over the country and offers support whenever it is needed. There are also workshops held annually in various parts of the country which enable information to be passed on to and between volunteers.
There are also a number of local initiatives including the Woking Cycle Users Group and the Guildford Cycling Forum. A comprehensive list of local groups may be found on the Surrey County Council website.
